Captain George`s Fish and Chips in Trenton

I didnt know this restaurant was trying to make back all their losses in one summer by raising all menu by prices by $1 to $2. I paid over $21 for 1 fish and chips on take-out. I have been customer for 10 yrs. never again.

Excellent food. We called to pick up about 30 minutes before. we still had to wait 45 for our food. However, during covid times, you have to be understanding.

This place is not worth the money at all. The fish was overcooked and flavorless, the poutine was absolutely disgusting and they didnt cut up all the fries and there was literally half a potato in it. The calamari dinner tasted like breaded rubber bands. This has to be the worst seafood I've ever had. If you want fish youd be further ahead to go literally anywhere else. Also they offer a military discount however wont honour it if you've already ordered and wouldnt cancel the order and redo it.

Great fish, better staff. So friendly and polite. They really go out of their way to make sure your happy.

To say my deal was delicious is an understatement. Amazing owners, amazing food, amazing location. Huge portions!

Nice, lightly battered fish. Good fries. Checks off the boxes for the fish and chips craving.

Unfortunate experience for us during peek hour on a Friday. Called ahead to check if they could accommodate a party of 8 (including 3 kids), but it's first come first serve - fair enough. We take our chances. The Annoyed waitress seats us after her boss tells her to put some tables together. An Hour goes by without any checkups from our waitress. We flag her down, and she says the food is being worked on, but it's busy and we should know that. lol fair enough, but an hour is too long, and we just can't wait any longer with the kids here so we walked out of there - my first time walking out of a restaurant. Not sure why she ignored us for so long, we were polite, and I'd say overly patient.
